Vision Statement

The Board Of Literacy Vision Statement

Focuses on tomorrow and what an organization wants to ultimately become.

What are our hopes and dreams?

Our dream is to create an overall wealth-conscious generation.

What problem are we solving for the greater good?

We are establishing an inheritance of financial education that may not have been fostered nor handed down from previous generations.

Who and what are we inspiring to change?

We inspire to impact youth ages 10 – 18 with financial literacy, education, and mentorship-matching. We are able to implement wealth creation, workforce empowerment, and assist in the development of a higher financial quotient with all of our program participants through our free services and programs.

The Board Of Literacy Mission Statement

To Advance The Financial Quotient of Our Youth

What do we do?

We provide financial literacy and education through our mentorship – matching and our group development programs.

Whom do we serve?

We service at-risk marginalized youth and their care-givers.

How do we serve them?

We service our youth through individual as well as group trainings and development. Our focus is to connect our program participants to financial education tools and free resources they can utilize during their financial literacy journey to include: anger management technology, hands-on character development in our group sessions, and exposure to literacy opportunities available to them to help them advance in their lives.
